A fun dirty-hands-and-knees-sore-back kinda day. Furniture restoration 101 is greater parts patience, patience, patience. Yes, you who know me best are laughing, I should have plenty of patience, since I so rarely use it. But patience, because the last time I did this, a probable $8k+ piece was highly devalued. So, firm grip but easy hand, love the woodgrain, take your time — thinking some old blues in the background, with some very slow repetitive rhythm.
Furniture restoration or personal restoration? Mayhaps both, but either way, this one’s going to be beautiful!
